Terms & conditions
Business name: BGC Events Ltd
Place of registration: 8 Bowling Green Close, Oakham, Rutland, LE15 6HL
BGC Events as an independent agent, sources venues for accommodation and events and assists with managing events.
Communication is via telephone, email and booking forms on the company’s website. The only possible cost is for using the 0871 number, which is at 10 pence per minute.
Charges
In general, the service that BGC Events provides is at no additional charge to the customer, as remuneration is provided by the venues confirmed with the rates the same, as if the customer had made the booking themselves directly with the venue. With this arrangement, our charges are entirely cancelled out and the service provided is effectively free.
BGC Events reserves the right to charge a fee, corresponding to the amount of time involved in a booking, should a client engage our services but not allow BGC Events to complete the booking and therefore deny the opportunity of collecting remuneration from a venue. The fee will be based on the rate of £60 + VAT per hour. Should an event be cancelled and cancellation charges waived in full or in part, a fee will be charged in lieu of the commission that would have been received, had the event taken place.
Cancellation terms
BGC Events does not apply cancellation terms. Instead, each booking carries individual terms as set by the venue involved. These will always be clearly stated on correspondence. Should cancellation be necessary, BGC Events will endeavour to negotiate out of any charges, but this is entirely at the discretion of the venue involved.
